Opening Hours and Prices

Opening Hours -

Our opening hours are 8.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Prices -

Registration Fee for 2-5 year olds – Government Funded Nursery Places: Free per child
Private Nursery Places: £60.00 per child
Nursery Child Costs: We split our Nursery day into Morning and Afternoon sessions, these sessions are 3 hours each 9.00am-12pm and 12pm-3pm. These are charged at £27.00 per session. Any additional hours are charged at £12.50, this cost is for a full hour charged before 9.00am or after 3.00pm

At Little Explorers Forest School Nursery we offer additional services and activities are not expected to be provided as part of the EYFS. Please note families have the option to ‘Opt in’ or ‘Opt out’ of our additional extra charges.

Option of Opting in – by opting in your child will be given a full premium services for your child to have opportunities to flourish above the EYFS standards;

Additional Snack; Crackers, Bread Sticks, Raisins, Ice pops, Butter and Food of the week.
Forest School; Forest School activities and other equipment, tool work, fire experiences, cooking over the fire.
Animal handling and care; Guinea Pig care of handling, feeding and looking after them.
Book Bags; Premium home learning reading and resources bags to take home.
Tapestry; to have full Premium access to all your child’s observations, photographs and assessments for online learning journal.
Sports days; treats and medals.
Trips; cost of your child will be covered.
Summer and Christmas party; to contribute towards party food and gifts.

TOTAL EXTRA COST PER MONTH

Opt in - For one child attending 15 hours or below per week is £53.00

Opt out - For one child attending 15 hours or below per week is £0.00

Opt in - For one child attending 15 hours or above per week is £68.00

Opt out - For one child attending 15 hours or above per week is £0.00

Option of Opting out – by opting out your child will be given an education in line with the EYFS standards and access to Tapestry for Administration Services only. We will not be able to involve your child in the ‘Opt in services’ as these additional premium services are at cost to the nursery and we can only offer these wonderful extras with the additional charge. If you do ‘Opt out’ please note due to costs, we will be unable to provide any of the above extras to your child.
